Welcome back to another installment of I love brioche and can’t stop making it. I think the structure of the two recipes each month will most likely be one brioche recipe and one non-brioche recipe so I hope you love brioche as well, or I hope I can convince you to love brioche.
These are my walnut custard brioche knots. The other day I came across these beauties from Nea and I immediately needed to make my own custard filled buns. They might not be the prettiest because there’s not a lot of color going on, but I promise they’re super delicious. They’re made with a super fluffy brioche dough that’s rolled up with walnut frangipane and filled with a vanilla custard. They’re a super light dessert and they’re perfect for having over some coffee.
