happy friday! here’s what’s new (& updated) on fresh bean bakery this week -
gingerbread banana sheet cake - new


With Thanksgiving being next week, I think it’s safe to say that I’ve held out on posting holiday recipes for long enough, so here’s my first holiday recipe for the holiday season! It’s a gingerbread banana sheet cake - made with a super moist banana cake and the perfect amount of gingerbread spices. And of course it’s topped off with a creamy & delicious vanilla cream cheese frosting.
I’m also going to be starting my 12 days of cookiemas on Dec. 3rd, where I’ll be posting a cookie on my Instagram every day for 12 days, about half will be new cookies and half will be cookies that already exist on the blog. Aaaand just between us, there will be a bonus 13th day with a substack exclusive cookie recipe :) Aaaand also sorry in advance if the lighting isn’t the best for the posts to come, it’s been pure clouds over here for 2 weeks now.

These pecan pie brownies got a little picture update on the blog since thanksgiving is right around the corner. They’re on my thanksgiving dessert menu every year - made with my perfect fudge brownie base and topped with a maple pecan pie topping that’s the perfect combo of sweet and crunchy.
