cinnamon roll donuts
the perfect fall donut
happy friday! here’s what was new on fbb last week ☺︎
cinnamon roll donuts

*New* on the blog this week are these cinnamon rolls in donut form — they’re made with a super fluffy brioche, rolled with butter, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon (all your classic cinnamon roll fillings), twisted into knots, fried, and coated with a cream cheese glaze. They’re basically a better version of a cinnamon roll and they’re very similar to an apple fritter, without the apples of course.
pumpkin swirl cheesecake

If you’re not a fan of pumpkin pie or just not a fan of making pies in general (understandable) — this is the perfect cheesecake for you. It’s made with a super rich and creamy vanilla cheesecake that’s divided in half, and then half of it is flavored with pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice (so there’s no need to make two separate batters). It also is made with a shortbread cookie pumpkin pie spice crust and it’s the perfect make-ahead Thanksgiving dessert because it can be made the day before and chill in the fridge overnight.
This recipe got a little topping update. It used to be topped with whipped cream buuut now I have an optional toasted swiss meringue in the recipe that you could put on top instead which is basically just a giant pile of toasted marshmallow.
pumpkin oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

This recipe just got a little picture update on the blog. They’re made with pumpkin puree, which also acts as our egg replacement (but you’d never know they’re eggless!), and they’re loaded with oats and pools of melty chocolate. I know it might seem a little weird to pair pumpkin with chocolate but I promise the combo of dark brown sugar, oats, pumpkin & chocolate is truly so delish — and these are super easy to make because all you need is one bowl, no mixer required!
happy baking!
